SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA – FEBRUARY 2016: Teff Tribe have today announced, 25% of sales over the next month will be donated to their partner charity Ethiopiaid to help deliver much needed funds to aid the current Ethiopia drought crisis.

Due to the worst drought in fifty years, there has been a dramatic herd loss, leading to malnutrition in all areas of Ethiopia. Women health extension workers are working tirelessly to distribute soap and water, in order to prevent illness, and also much needed food to the Afar region, in Northern Ethiopia, one of the hottest places on earth.

Sam Sloane Co-Founder, Teff Tribe said: “We are pleased to be able to increase our support to Ethiopiaid at this challenging time as the widespread impact of the Ethiopian drought continues to take effect”

“The Afar region has been one of the hardest hit areas in Ethiopia. Support will allow our project partner APDA to distribute much needed food and healthcare to some of the most hard to reach communities in Ethiopia.” Said Bebe Beckerman Donor Relations Coordinator, Ethiopiaid Australia.

Getting these children back to class, as well as restoring lost livelihoods and strengthening health systems, are all critical components of the long-term humanitarian response.
